We had a great shoot on Sunday with Miss Addie! Addie and her family are one of the reasons I got hooked on Kids photography to begin with. Her mom saw some pictures my husband I had taken of some of our various family members and graciously allowed me to “practise” with Addie at the beach one night after work last year. After that I was hooked! I recently bought a new tutu and I had been dying to try it out with a toddler, Addie’s mom jumped at the chance and here are the results of our “dress-up” session, enjoy! And a special thanks to Addie and Family for being so supportive from the beginning!

Ronnie and his family came to join us in the studio this weekend, and although his parents were too shy to get in front of the lense, Ronnie had no problem mugging for the camera! He brought his guitar and jammed away while I took pictures…such a little rocker. Its shoots like this that remind me why I love what I do. Ronnie taught me that you can’t smile and blow bubbles at the same time, no matter how much the silly photographer asks you to! (Go ahead and try it…you really can’t) Enjoy the pictures!

We recently had our first photoshoot with our other new addition to the family…Addison Kate! She was welcomed by Cindy, Karl and Big Brother Sean in the beginning of February. Addie is 9 months old and already a pro in front of the camera! Poor thing had a cold and couldn’t breathe through her nose. Enjoy the pictures, and thanks to addie for trying out my newest prop…the birds nest!

Well we reached a major milestone here at [lei]…we launched the website today! While I am happy that we finally got there, I am less than pleased with the results. Its been a while since I dusted off the old Dreamweaver software and started from scratch, and while the IDEA is there I need to work on cleaning every thing up and addressing the pixelated images! YIKES! I apologize in advance…we’re working on it. It’s a great feeling to launch a website and already be planning the relaunch! haha. If you happen to stumble upon this site, please keep checking back…one day the site will be as pretty as the pictures in the galleries!

How to Win Your FREE Print Package:
1. One print package will be awarded to the client that refers the most new clients between March 15th and May 1st.
2. The second Print Package will be given away in a random drawing to be held on May 1st. For every new client you refer we will place your name in the drawing, so the more your refer the more chances you have!

We have been couped up in our studio for shoots during the winter and now we are looking forward to some fresh air and natural light!
Here are the details of the program:
Receive a $50 credit towards your sitting fee at your next session for each new client that you refer to [lei] photography. You may combine up to two credits to one future sitting. (So, if you refer 2 people, you get a $100 towards your sitting fee.)
You referral must mention your name when booking their session. Credits are awarded when the session retainer is received from the new client.
As an added bonus, when you recieve your prints from [lei] photography, you will also receive personalized referral cards to pass along to your friends, family, and co-workers. Those referral cards also contain a New Client Coupon for $25 off their print order with [lei]. You are both rewarded for participating in this Referral Program!

My husband I flew to Maryland recently to visit with my family and the latest addition to the bunch…Alexander! Such a good baby! (I am sure mom and dad might disagree for those 4am feedings) We took these pictures in and around my parents house and I love the soft light! Mark Allen is now a big “bruddah” and still just as cute hamming it up for the camera! Enjoy!
